Spring Commission

Spring commission.

Coming out of winter, a boat needs a full system wake-up before it is ready for the bay: diagnostics, a proper look at everything that sat all season and a check that it runs the way it should. Most owners book four to six weeks before they want to be on the water, because mid-March through May fills fast. Drop it at the shop, or we handle it where the boat sits.

Thrilled to have found Delmarva service center! We needed our new-to-us tritoon bottom painted, but every other Center I contacted was booked for weeks and far too expensive. Nadine and Carson save our season with a VERY reasonable price, great, quick service, and they even arrange delivery on the water. If you're worn out by overpriced Marine centers, poor quality work, unreasonable time frames you'll love working with Delmarva service center!

They came to my slip and fixed the fuel gauge and depth finder and that same day and I was back on the water. Excellent team. Nadine was super helpful!

FAQ

Before you book.

When should I schedule spring commissioning?
Four to six weeks before you want to be on the water. Mid-March through May fills quickly, so the earlier the request comes in, the sooner we can fit you in.
Can you commission the boat where it sits?
Yes — the van covers all of Sussex County, so a commission can happen at your slip, lift or driveway. If the work needs the shop, our trucks bring the boat to Milton and back.
